The children's author David Walliams lost his contract with longtime publisher.
Acclaimed children's author and comedian David Walliams has been dropped by his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.
A representative for the publisher stated: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards young women.
The publisher declined to specify the reasons for its decision, adding: "We do not comment on internal matters."
