Netflix Selects Ideal Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3
Baroque Works is set to exert significant influence in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t unfold until the next season, and a cherished, popular member has just been cast.
The streaming service revealed this week that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece season 3 cast and will play Bentham. Bon Clay has the ability to morph into an exact copy of anyone they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them, will depict a rendition of that role reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the live-action show, unlike the initial comic and animated series.
The new cast member is joined by several other fresh additions who will portray the group to the screen, such as head the main antagonist, brought to life by the seasoned performer, an emerging star as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the ensemble as the monarch of Alabasta.
Even though the role is a key figure of the group, the persona won’t appear until One Piece season 3. Given season 2 set to cover the Little Garden arc, this signals a significant shift in the placement of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest further changes to the narrative framework.
Escola’s blend of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a standout choice for the character. In addition to their current animated role in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and several accolades for writing and starring in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, highlighting the range they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s most celebrated roles.
The platform’s adapted One Piece show is scheduled to come back for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
