A American-Palestinian adolescent having endured nine months in imprisonment by Israel without charge has been freed.

The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 at the time of his arrest this past winter in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, during a family visit on holiday from Florida accused of stone-throwing at Jewish settlers, allegations he repeatedly contested.

The US state department expressed satisfaction with Mohammed's liberation.

Mohammed, now 16, needed medical care right after being freed, relatives told the media.

According to them, he appears visibly pale and thin, and is suffering from conditions acquired while detained.

Through an official statement, Mohammed's uncle spoke of the family's "tremendous relief".

Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"Currently, we're concentrating on getting Mohammed urgent medical care he needs after experiencing harsh conditions and cruel circumstances throughout his detention."

US officials announced ongoing to offer diplomatic assistance to Mohammed's family.

{"American leadership considers paramount to the protection and welfare of American nationals"," the department emphasized.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers endorsed a document to diplomatic officials and President Donald Trump, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.

Mohammed's parent, with four children operating an ice cream shop based in Tampa, previously said his son only confessed about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.

He had not seen nor direct contact since the arrest, receiving updates exclusively regarding the treatment in detention through court documents.

He stayed lacking indictment within Ofer penitentiary throughout the occupied territory.

The facility also contains grown detainees, featuring prisoners sentenced regarding severe security violations and murder.

There are around several hundred young Palestinian detainees detained within Israeli facilities, per correctional service statistics.

Numerous remain uncharged along with monitoring agencies, including UN bodies, report instances of physical abuse and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, the uncle stated relatives would persist in advocating seeking justice for their relative family member Sayfollah.

This young American-Palestinian per medical officials succumbed to assault by radical settlers during a confrontation during summer.

During that period, military authorities reported officials were investigating information regarding a civilian had been killed.

Mohammed and Sayfollah collaborated in the family ice cream shop from Tampa.

No indictments occurred for the cousin's murder.

"We demand US authorities to protect our families," Mr Kadur said.
